I think I posted about my other blog before.

I'm trying to keep the blog more "professional" too, in case it is ever pulled up by any potential employers. And by professional I mean trying to keep too many personal references out of it and try to keep from talking about my feelings too much.
I bring this all up in relation to something that has come to me in the past few days. I"ve been struggling now for a while with the question of "What do I want to do with my life?" For the longest time my goal was simply to get the frak out of Alabama. And to get a boyfriend. And now I have done both, which leads me back to the question of "What do I want to do with my life?".
It isn't an easy question to answer. I've been searching my soul for a while now. The answer I've found: I want to be a writer. I've always had the notion of being an author. I was never serious about it, and wouldn't really say I dreamt of doing it. It was more of a thought, a thought I never put any weight behind. Now though...now I want it. I want it a lot.
Not only would writing be fun and allow my imagination to really bloom, but I could also tie it into my spirituality, which would just be awesome. All in all, I think it is a good dream to have.
Which brings me back to the blog, because in an effort to work towards my dream of being a writer, I need to write and I need people to read what I write. I need to get my name out there. So I want my blog to get out there more, I want to write here more, and I want to start researching how one breaks into the industry.
